Another raya celebration at Cheetham Hill. I'm not the host but was just helping (or co-host?). Preparing the satay was very interesting. Really enjoy it.
Then with fireworks and the kids enjoying themselves, it was fun...

Another thing here, the Pakistani neighbours was really burning their money playing the rockets and all sorts fireworks from small to very big, from 8pm to 12pm non-stop!! It was like a war between blocks.

These are some great moments that I managed to capture during last week celebration.
Solat sunat aidilfitri was on 5 November, organized by MCCH (Malaysian Community of Cheetham Hill) at school hall and the light refreshment was jointly prepared by the community. Actually I celebrated a day before (4 Nov) coz different kariah masjid. There were two different days here .

Jamuan Aidilfitri Manchester held on 6 November 05 and was organized by MCCH together with support from MCOT (Malaysian Community of Old Traffod) and financially supported by Malaysian Student Department, London. The 'gotong royong ' spirit is still strong where the community get together the night before to prepare meals. We even had nasi impit & sup tulang . The crowed came from all over Manchester and also outside Manchester including Leeds, Liverpool, Bradford, Birmingham, Sheffield, Cardiff, Preston and London.

Colours of nature

Life was a little bit bored over the last week so i manage to capture these moment through my window. The weather was unpredictable. During the same hour it was so bright, and suddenly turned to cloudy and moody and it rains heavily for about few minutes. The strong wind blowed the clouds until the sun came out again before setting...I was so amazaed with the colours.
Somehow I think it goes the same with my feelings and attitude..happy, boring & lazy, active and sometimes so sleepy! That's the colours of my life too..

kelak kekecewaan bakal mendatang
itulah hakikat kehidupan...

Here are more photos of architecture and the like. I just feel that they are so nice and looks different from all those classic red brick buildings here.
Hari2 tengok red bricks building boring juga.

Some of the modern architectures here. I kinda like the pedestrian bridge which conects Arndale with Marks & Spencer..very unique & futuristic!
